From December 16th to January 9th, Le Grand Palais open its doors for the 4th edition of Le Grand Palais des Glaces.

Named the largest icerink in the world thanks to its 3000m₂ of ice, this incredible space welcomes adults and children looking for wintery games.

Everything is done to offer a magic moment: a 7 meters ice bear at the center of the rink, an enchanting ambiance created by the Grand Palais glass roof, a giant dancefloor with lights and music at nightfall, dedicated spaces for children…

Le Grand Palais Paris presents until the 4th of February 2019 a retrospective of the technical and stylistic evolution of Joan Miro.

Immerse yourself in the enchanted universe of theartist who managed to perpetually renew his art during his 70 years of creation. Poetic, unusual, the 150 works exhibited including some unseen in France – paintings, drawings, ceramics and sculptures – open the doors of are-enchanted, marvelous and intense in spite of the simplicity of the mediums used by the artist.

Like every year, the most beautiful avenue in the world will be enlighten every night by sumptuous illuminations from 6pm to 2am and all night long for Christmas and New Years Eve.

The theme chosen by the stakeholders of the event is “Flamboyance” and will be composed of a rain of shooting stars going up the 400 trees of the avenue.

Ground control invests a famous place of the Champs Elysees, “La Galerie 26”. This ephemeral space define itself as a lively place multidisciplinary, independent, a space of artistic creation and cultural diffusion, a place of experimentation and discovery around the city life and the “living together”.

One hundred years later, WWI French Soldiers, also called “Les Poilus” are not here anymore to testify. In order to commemorate this historical date, the city of Paris organizes events from the 6^th of October until the 30^th of November 2018.*

The Parisian Sleepless Nights made Paris dream. For this 17^th edition, the event will take place on the 6^th of October 2018 and will be directed by Gaël Charbau, independent curator and artistic advisor for Universcience.
