THE MOULIN ROUGE CABARET IS 130 YEARS OLD.

The Moulin Rouge blows this year its 130 candles.

This famous cabaret opened its doors on October 06, 1889, under the direction of Mr Oller and Mr Zidler, who launched a bold bet, to make the Moulin Rouge “the Palace of the Dance and the Woman”.

HALLOWEEN

Halloween is a traditional folk and pagan festival from the Anglo-Celtic Islands, celebrated on the evening of October 31, the eve of the Christian holiday of All Saints.

Despite its English Christian name, the vast majority of sources present Halloween as a legacy of Samain’s pagan festival, which was celebrated by the Celts early in the autumn and was a kind of New Year’s Eve party for them.

FESTIVAL OF THE VENDANGES OF MONTMARTRE 2019

The wine event returns to the Butte Montmartre for an 86th edition, from 9 to 13 October 2019.

The program: Music, Shows, Walks, Exhibitions and novelties such as the Neon Night Race and the Chromatic Ascent of the Butte Stairs. Since 1934, Montmartre celebrates its winemaking tradition every second weekend of October.

NUIT BLANCHE 2019 – SLEEPLESS NIGHT

The 18th edition of the Nuit Blanche, whose principle is to bring art down the street, will take place Saturday, October 5, 2019 in Paris. This year entrusted to Didier Fusillier (President of the Park and the Halle de la Villette), which invited a hundred artists.

Great parade from Concorde to Bastille and closed by a show signed Groupe F, Bal Blanc at the Town Hall, Night Race in the Museums, giant bike path on the Peripheral … and many other activities … the Nuit Blanche will make Paris shiver from 7pm to 6am!

EUROPEAN HERITAGE DAYS

The 2019 edition of the European Heritage Days will take place the 21st and the 22nd  of September, honoring Arts and Entertainment.

More than 30 years ago, the ministry of culture and communication created the European Heritage days that invite you to discover or rediscover Parisian monuments for free. For a week end in the year, various animations are organized and allow for unusual tours and even visits in closed to public places like the Palais de l’Elysée.
